L&#8217;obiettivo di questo studio era di studiare l&#8217;utilit\u00e0 della VR nella valutazione dell&#8217;apprendimento motorio a breve termine nella sclerosi multipla (SM).<\/p>\n<p>Dodici pazienti con SM destrorsi e 12 individui di controllo hanno eseguito un compito motorio di localizzazione con l&#8217;arto superiore destro, seguendo la traiettoria di un oggetto proiettato su uno schermo insieme al feedback visivo online sulla posizione della mano per mezzo di un sensore sull&#8217;indice. Sono stati somministrati un test di pre-allenamento (3 prove), una fase di addestramento (12 prove) e un test post-allenamento (3 prove). E&#8217; stata calcolata la distanza tra la traiettoria eseguita e quella richiesta.<\/p>\n<p>Entrambi i gruppi hanno ottenuto risultati peggiori nei piani di profondit\u00e0 rispetto al piano frontale (x, z) (P &lt;.006). I pazienti con sclerosi multipla hanno ottenuto risultati peggiori rispetto a quelli dei pazienti di controllo sul piano frontale in entrambe le valutazioni (P &lt;.015), mentre hanno ottenuto una percentuale pi\u00f9 bassa di miglioramento nella fase post-allenamento solo nei piani di profondit\u00e0 (P = .03). Il sistema VR ha rilevato una compromissione dell&#8217;apprendimento motorio nei pazienti con SM, in particolare per le caratteristiche dei compiti che richiedono un&#8217;integrazione complessa di informazioni sensoriali (movimento nei piani di profondit\u00e0).
