Gli autori hanno valutato se questo approccio potrebbe essere utile anche per il trattamento di pazienti con deficit motorio a causa di un ictus recente.<\/p>\n<p>Nello studio sono stati inclusi 38 pazienti entro 3 mesi da un ictus ischemico nel territorio dell&#8217;arteria cerebrale media. 25 soggetti hanno ricevuto un training con la terapia RFVE (Reinforced Feedback in Virtual Environment) per il braccio e 13 pazienti hanno ricevuto una quantit\u00e0 uguale di una terapia convenzionale di riabilitazione (CR) focalizzata sull&#8217;arto superiore. Prima e dopo la terapia, \u00e8 stata valutata l&#8217;autonomia delle attivit\u00e0 di vita quotidiana con la Functional Independence Measure (FIM) e il grado di compromissione motoria \u00e8 stato misurato con la scala di Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity (FM-UE).<\/p>\n<p>Il gruppo di terapia RFVE ha mostrato miglioramenti significativi nei punteggi medi della scala FM-UE e FIM. La terapia convenzionale ha determinato miglioramenti dei punteggi minori e non statisticamente significativi.
