Sono necessari approcci pi\u00f9 innovativi alla riabilitazione motoria. Gli autori hanno confrontato un approccio basato sull&#8217;apprendimento motorio in un ambiente virtuale con una terapia dell&#8217;arto superiore pi\u00f9 convenzionale, in uno studio pilota.<\/p>\n<p>Questo studio prospettico, in singolo cieco, randomizzato e controllato ha confrontato il feedback rinforzato in un ambiente virtuale (RFVE; n = 27) con un intervento di controllo (n = 20) di terapia progressiva per l&#8217;arto superiore compromesso. Entrambi i trattamenti sono stati erogati per 4 settimane, 5 giorni alla settimana, con sessioni di trattamento di 1 ora al giorno. Gli outcomes primari erano i punteggi Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity (F-M UE) e Functional Independence Measure (FIM). Gli outcomes cinematici includevano durata media (MD), velocit\u00e0 lineare media (MLV) e numero di submovimenti per misurare le prestazioni motorie. Le analisi degli outcomes primari sono state eseguite per protocollo e intenzione di trattare (&#8220;intention to treat&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>I punteggi di F-M UE sono migliorati significativamente nel gruppo RFVE rispetto al gruppo di terapia convenzionale (&#8220;intention to treat&#8221; = 5,10 punti, P = .004; ANCOVA = 4,26 punti, P &lt;.01). Molti dei parametri cinematici sono migliorati nel gruppo RFVE (MD, P &lt;.01; MLV, P &lt;.01). I miglioramenti della FIM non differivano.
